I scored a tiny little part in Cane. I wish I could tell you which episode, but the role is so small, I have no idea. LOL! Watch out for me to be on film, pool-side.

In other news, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes as planned, but I have accepted a few film roles - supporting and lead. The films are fully funded and we’re supposed to start shooting in November. My acting coach has given me the tools and confidence I need to pull off some “pretty decent stuff”. I don’t have to tell you guys that a life-long career cannot be made on the “sexy girl” credentials. So I’m thankful to have these upcoming opportunities to prove myself, even to my detractors, who (oddly enough) read my blogs.
I never would have imagined this path would lead to dramatic acting… but I’ve uncovered an ability I didn’t realize I had. Even with the smoke of this week’s devastating fires, I’m SO thankful to be here to make this transition and share it with all of you whose support keeps me forging ahead.
Now… let’s just hope the video cameras don’t REALLY add ten pounds!
I got an anonymous note through my website the other day from a concerned supporter informing me the website hosting the photos I linked as “bikini pics” under my MySpace profile photo had been compromised. As a result, the site shows page count numbers (profile views) that portray my online presence in a light that is unflattering and wholly unrealitistic. Because of the “breach”, profiles of models who are essentially unknown wrongly appear to be viewed more than mine, even though roughly 10%* of the traffic coming to this MySpace account was also going there.
THANK YOU FOR THE HEADS UP! This note is as much a thanks as it is to let you know that your anonymous notes have also been received by the website owner and action is being taken.
We’re in touch with the website owner and she is in the process of rewriting the code to address this issue. In the meantime, the link has been redirected to swimwear pictures I maintain. Best of all, there’s no hacked counter to give my clients, fans, friends or potential clients the wrong impression. Once the site is fixed, I’ll consider linking it back to the original site so the real numbers will speak for themself.
