All good things…
Ξ April 20th, 2008 | → | ∇ Pic of the Week |
The Pic of the Week (POTW) feature has been running for a couple of years, but it has run its course.
I started modeling in August of ‘05 and the POTW feature was a way I could share my shoots with anyone who was interested. Since relocating to SoCal a year ago, I’ve done nearly twice the work here that I did during the first 18 months of my modeling career. In fact, I was featured in an ad that ran on the back cover of US weekly in January 2008 and didn’t even take the time to scan, upload and blog about it. Plus, as most of you who’ve been with me since the beginning know, I haven’t spent any quality time on MySpace in a long time.
A part of my lack of attention to MySpace comes from my workload. I am staying extremely busy, successfully transitioning from modeling into acting. Modeling pays the bills, but everyone knows nature will allow one to model for only so long. With my new career, I have small parts in upcoming episodes of Shark and in the movies House Bunny and Fired Up. If you have Spike TV and are a regular viewer of Manswers, with five pieces recorded for upcoming episodes, you’ll be seeing a familiar face there soon. I’m also seeing the decline in MySpace’s popularity and its declining value as a promotional tool, so that too has kept me from investing much time with MySpace.
All of this adds up to the fact that the POTW feature will become a casualty of progress. As time permits, many other changes will be taking place. As soon as I can fit it in, I’ll be overhauling my MySpace profile and www.teresanoreen.com to be more representative of my acting pursuits than modeling. I am planning to maintain my modeling portfolio at www.tnoreen.com for the time being.
I invite you to come along for the ride. I’m having fun finding my way in this new career path. There won’t be lots of pretty pictures to share, but it should still prove to be an experience like no other.
Onward and upward!
Teresa Noreen

you’ve proven time and time again that you’re more than just a pretty face. I’ll still be there. Good luck!

Teresa, we wish you only the best and as an avid fan/supporter of yours we will continue to support you in whatever endeavor you may choose. You are one of the most down to earth people I know and that is refreshing. Best of luck and looking forward to seeing your powerful and enriching beauty gracing the silver screen
Much Luv

Sad to see the Monday morning shots go away. Very glad to hear things are going so well for you though. If nothing else, I’m sure I’ll see you when you appear on Shark, it’s a very good show. All the best to you guys, be well.

I am always happy to hear about your progress. Of course I have enjoyed seeing your pictures over the years, but you have to manage your life and your career.
If you can find a way to continue to share some of the news of your activities with us, that would be great- but I understand fully if that has to be sacrificed to spend time on things of more value to yourself.

You are simply awesome, and have always been a GREAT Role model for young girls wanting to pursue the business. This is just another example of how ‘Onward and Upward’ is working for you - and showing everyone it IS possible for them to achieve what they set out to do! Can’t wait to see all of your new adventures!

HEY GIRL! IT’S GONNA BE SAD LOSING YOUR POTW FEATURE. HOWEVER, YOUR LOOKS ARE NOT WHY I HAVE YOU AS A FRIEND. ALTHOUGH I ONLY GET FOUR BASIC CHANNELS ON MY TV, I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR MOVIES. I BELIEVE YOU HAVE ALOT OF TALENT AND WILL STAND BY YOU WITH WHATEVER CHOICES YOU MAKE. THANKS FOR BEING A GOOD FRIEND. JUST REMEMBER THAT YOUR FANS LOVE YOU.
